During the meeting, which took place at the Quirinal Palace in Rome, President Mattarella welcomed the President of the UAE and expressed confidence that His Highness would become a strong driving force for the development of relations between both countries in various fields.
His Highness expressed his satisfaction regarding the visit to the country, known for its rich history and cultural heritage, emphasizing the strong strategic partnership between the UAE and Italy.

His Highness expressed hope that the announced $40 billion investments from the UAE in Italy would contribute to the development and flourishing of both countries and their peoples.
At the meeting, members of the delegation accompanying the President of the UAE were present, including Sheikh Abdulla bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, senior advisors to the President of the UAE, several ministers, and senior officials from Italy.
During His Highness's visit, agreements and memorandums on cooperation, aimed at improving collaboration between the UAE and Italy within their strategic partnership were signed. Special attention was given to the promotion of cooperation in the fields of industry, advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, energy, healthcare, culture, education, scientific research, agriculture, transport, cosmetics, and the development of economic partnerships with African countries.
Italian ministers and officials responsible for these sectors exchanged agreements and memoranda on cooperation. The parties emphasized that their strategic partnership serves as an important framework for developing relations and realizing the ambitions of their peoples in the field of further growth and flourishing.
