On Wednesday, the Ocean Viking rescue ship, operated by SOS Mediterranee, saved 25 individuals in distress in the Mediterranean Sea. This operation highlights ongoing humanitarian efforts in the region.

The rescue ship "Ocean Viking" organized by SOS Mediterranee saved 25 people at sea. Among the rescued were two little girls and a woman approximately 9 months pregnant. The migrants were found on a patrol boat sent by an Italian coastguard party. Medical personnel on board the ship already provided them with first aid. "Our medical team immediately intervened to treat the pregnant woman on board," reported the organization SOS Mediterranee.
