Leandro Paredes Negotiates Contract with Roma

The management of the Italian club is interested in ensuring the continuity of Leandro Paredes; however, the contract negotiations still need some adjustments. In this scenario, Boca Juniors is closely monitoring the situation, with Juan Román Riquelme leading the interest in bringing the player back.

The failed return of Paredes in the previous transfer market generated expectations among fans, and now the possibility that Roma will accept an exit clause keeps the hope alive in the Argentine team. Although the renewal with Roma seems to be on the way, Paredes' future is still not defined and will depend on the performance of the Italian club for the rest of the season, as well as Boca's decision to make an effort to bring back the player trained in their academy.

Leandro Paredes, the world champion midfielder, was Boca's main target in the last transfer market, but his arrival did not materialize. He is currently in negotiations to renew with the Roma management, as his contract expires in June.

Although the renewal is expected to become a reality in the coming days, it will not be automatic because not all agreed objectives have been met. However, there is a clause that Paredes desires, which could keep Boca's hope alive: a possible exit in the middle of the year, as long as a club makes an offer to the Italian team.

At 30 years old, Paredes has established himself at Roma under the direction of Claudio Ranieri, even becoming the team captain on some occasions.
