Italian Vice PM Denounces Intimidation Amid Pro-Palestinian Threats

The Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, declared that Italy will not be intimidated by threats after receiving a letter from a pro-Palestinian group. The letter warned about Italy's supposed unlimited support for the 'crime of genocide against the Palestinian people.' Tajani stated that they will continue to work for peace and received expressions of solidarity from government colleagues and politicians.

Alessandro Orsini, an Italian sociologist amidst controversies, shared on social media that Tajani is known as Antonio Netajani for being a close ally of Israel. The Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, revealed that the letter contained unacceptable threats that demand a firm response to avoid a climate of hatred and violence in a delicate international situation.

The letter was sent to Tajani's office by a group called 'Global Movement Against the Nazi-Zionist Terrorist State of Israel for the Liberation of Palestine.' This group announced that starting November 15, they will use armed force to attack Israeli interests worldwide, including embassies and museums.

In response to this situation, Matteo Piantedosi said that investigators are working to identify those responsible for these threats. The letter urged countries such as the United States, Germany, France, and Italy to stop economically and militarily supporting Israel and to adopt a position of neutrality. Tajani responded on social media, stating that he will not be intimidated by threats and expressed his concern about the climate of hatred generated.
