Pope Francis Shows Gradual Health Improvements

The health of Pope Francis, 88 years old, who has been hospitalized at the Gemelli clinic in Rome for a month, shows "gradual improvements," according to a new report from the Holy See released on Saturday. The official statement indicates that the Pontiff still requires hospital medical therapy, motor and respiratory physiotherapy.

Throughout the day, Francis spent most of his time between therapy, prayer, rest, and some work. He continues to receive high-flow oxygen therapy, gradually reducing the need for non-invasive mechanical ventilation at night. The clinical conditions of the Holy Father remain stable, confirming the progress of the previous week.

This Saturday, a new Rosary prayer was held in St. Peter's Square, led by the Governorate of the Vatican City State and guided by Monsignor Emilio Nappa, Secretary General. Despite the observed improvements, the health situation of Pope Francis is still considered reserved due to his bilateral pneumonia and other respiratory issues.
