The race will take place from March 9 to 15, 2026, in Italy, starting in the municipality of Lido di Camaiore and finishing in the municipality of San Benedetto del Tronto over a total distance of 1165.5 kilometers. The event is part of the UCI WorldTour 2026, the world's top-tier cycling calendar, and is the seventh race in this circuit. The Tirreno-Adriático is a competition with seven stages: two flat stages, two medium-mountain stages, two mountain stages, and one individual time trial. González comes off an excellent performance at the Giro di Sardegna in Italy, where he won the mountains classification. This demanding race will serve as preparation for both González and Samudio for the Pan American Road Championships, which will be held from March 15 to 22 in the city of Montería, Colombia.
