Napoli and Milan will face off this Thursday in a semi-final of the Italian Super Cup, which pits the champions of Serie A and the Coppa Italia against each other, along with their respective runners-up. The match will kick off at 16:00 (Argentina time) at Al-Awwal Park in the city of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and will be broadcast on DSports. Napoli, managed by Antonio Conte, qualified for the Italian Super Cup thanks to their Serie A title during the 2024/25 season, where they finished first in the table with 82 points, just one more than their closest rivals, Inter Milan. This will be Napoli's fifth participation in the Italian Super Cup, where they were champions in 1990, with the legendary Diego Armando Maradona as the star, and in 2014. Milan, for its part, earned its right to participate in this Super Cup by finishing as runners-up in the last edition of the Coppa Italia, where they lost to Bologna in the decisive match. The 'Rossoneri', led by coach Massimiliano Allegri, come from winning the last edition of the Italian Super Cup, which allowed them to win this title for the eighth time in their history (also in 1988, 1992, 1993, 1994, 2004, 2011, 2016, and 2024), leaving them just one title behind the competition's all-time winner, Juventus. On the other hand, the other semi-final, featuring Bologna and Inter Milan, will take place on Friday.
