The football club "Inter", leading in the Italian Serie A, loses its player Pietro Zieliński for a month due to a thigh muscle rupture in his right leg. On Monday, the club announced that "the medical examination revealed a rupture of the internal two-headed muscle of the right leg."
Despite the fact that the club did not announce the exact time of the player's recovery, according to the Italian press, Zieliński will miss about 45 days. This means he will not be able to play in the quarterfinals of the Champions League if "Inter" progresses further, after winning against "Feyenoord" in the first match 2-0.
Zieliński (30 years old) sustained the injury in the Saturday match of "Inter" against "Sassuolo", which ended in a victory with a score of 3-2. He was substituted in the 73rd minute shortly after his exit on the substitution. This season he played 22 matches in the championship and 8 in the Champions League, scoring 2 goals.
