The sporting director of Roma, Florent Ghisolfi, described Paulo Dybala as an important figure for both the club and the fans. Dybala, 31 years old, has renewed his contract with the Italian team until June 2026. Despite the renewal, the player's release clause remains at 12 million dollars until July 31 of this year. This opens the possibility for another team to pay that amount to sign the forward.

Since joining Roma, Dybala has played 102 matches, scoring 39 goals and providing 20 assists. Claudio Ranieri, the new coach of the team, considers Dybala a fundamental piece in his scheme and one of the most beloved players by the fans.

Dybala's renewal has disappointed Boca Juniors fans, who hoped to see the former Juventus player sporting the blue and gold colors due to his friendship with Leandro Paredes, a player who came through the youth ranks of the Argentine club.

In Ghisolfi's words: "It's official now. We are very happy, he is a technical leader of the team." Dybala's continuity at Roma has been well received by both the club and the fans, who see the Argentine player as an important pillar for the future of the team.
