Filipino Runners Gear Up for Rome Marathon

Filipino runners are preparing to participate in the Rimsk Marathon, which will take place on March 16. The Filipino community has called for athletes to showcase their skills and demonstrate their best results in the marathon. It is expected that more than 30,000 participants from different countries around the world will attend the event.

Among the Filipino participants are six pacers. One of them is 60-year-old JC Santa Teresa, renowned for his lively spirit and ability to inspire runners of all ages. His colleague, Katlin, creates an atmosphere of support, helping runners overcome challenges.

Rolando Espina, a multiple ultramarathon champion, is known for his outstanding resilience and impressive achievements in the toughest races. Given his competitive experience, he draws joy from participating as a pacer, using his expertise to guide runners through long distances.

Miguel Garcia, with experience in major triathlons such as the Pobeg from Alcatraz, continues to bring his enthusiasm and expertise to marathons worldwide. His ability to maintain a steady pace and motivating affirmations helps runners maintain rhythm and confidence.
