According to the Argentine News Agency, Atalanta had taken the lead in the 37th minute of the second half with a goal from striker Nikola Krstovic, while the home side equalized four minutes later with a goal from striker Rafiu Durosinmi. With the draw, Atalanta remained in seventh place in the table with 32 points, two points away from the UEFA Conference League qualification zone, while the new club of Independiente midfielder Felipe Loyola is second to last with 14 points. The first chance of the match was for the home side in the 13th minute, with a half-volley shot from midfielder Stefano Moreo in the small area, after a low cross from the right, which was blocked by the opposing defense.
