Buenos Aires, February 14 (NA) – Inter Milan achieved a dramatic home victory 3-2 against Juventus of Turin, in a match valid for the twenty-fifth round of Italy's Serie A, held this Saturday at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium. With Argentine Lautaro Martínez starting, the goals for the 'Nerazzurri' were scored by Andrea Cambiaso (own goal, at 17 minutes of the first half), Pio Esposito (at 31' of the second), and Piotr Zielinski (at 45' of the same period). Meanwhile, for the 'Old Lady', the goals were scored by Cambiaso himself (at 26 minutes of the initial stage) and Manuel Locatelli (at 38 minutes of the second half), according to the Argentine News Agency. With this result, the team led by Christian Chivu consolidated at the top of the Italian championship with an 11-point lead over runner-up Milan, although the red-blacks have one game less. The home team seemed to waste their numerical advantage after the expulsion of Kuluk in the final moments of the first half, but towards the end of the match they achieved a dramatic victory. With some luck from Cambiaso's own goal and two goals in the second half from Esposito and Zielinski, Inter Milan pulled away in the lead and begins to dream of the Serie A title. The Polish midfielder received the ball on the edge of the area, controlled it to his left, and unleashed a powerful low shot that beat goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio and served to give them the victory when it seemed the match would end in a draw. In other matches of the round, Atalanta defeated Lazio 2-0, while Como 1907 of Argentine Nicolás Paz surprisingly defeated Fiorentina, a team in the relegation zone, 2-1.
