During the second half of the Champions League match between "Barcelona" and "Inter", a brawl broke out among the players, which ended with the Italian team's victory with a score of 4:3, and notably, the score in the first game was 3:3.
In the video recordings, it was shown how the defender of "Barcelona" Inaki Martinez punched towards Francesco Acerbi when the latter noted his second goal for "Inter" in the first half. This led to a brawl among the players, which the referee Shimon Marciniak had to allow. Initially, the referee showed Acerbi a red card, but then after reviewing the video footage, he revoked this decision.
The incident occurred after Acerbi forgot a goal in the last minutes of the match, which became decisive for "Inter". The players continued the match after the incident, although the tension between them was very high.
Inaki Martinez stated on social media: "Acerbi celebrated a goal right in front of my face; my response was unmeasured, but I did not intend to punch him; he was out of reach of me. If this had happened closer, the referee would have certainly shown me a red card after reviewing the footage with VAR, if I had been guilty."
