Marcone: Martinez may miss the match against Barcelona
Inter's head coach Simeone Inzaghi shared information about the potential participation of Argentine footballer Lautaro Martinez in the match against Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League. In the press conference, he stated that Martinez did not train with the team since the first match against Barcelona, and a final decision on his participation will be made after consulting with the medical staff.
"We will decide whether Martinez and Benjamin Pavard will participate in the game after discussions with the medical personnel; we have not yet determined the starting lineup," said Inzaghi. Martinez suffered an injury in the first match against Barcelona and was substituted for Mehdi Taremi. Medical examinations showed that Martinez has a strain of the left thigh muscle.
He also added: "We need to sign a strong and reliable goalkeeper; we need a full concentration, we have a great desire and confidence in ourselves before the match with 'Barcelona'."
