The forward of the Argentina national team, Lautaro Martínez, stood out in Inter Milan's 4-0 victory over Lecce in the twenty-second round of Serie A. Martínez scored one goal and provided an assist in the match.

Martínez's goal came in the 39th minute of the first half with a powerful shot that went into the left corner of the goal defended by Wladimiro Falcone, showcasing his quality in a great individual play. With this goal, Martínez reached his ninth tally so far this season in the Italian league.

In addition to Martínez's goal, Davide Frattesi scored in the 6th minute of the first half, Denzel Dumfries scored with a pass from Martínez in the 12th minute of the second half, and Mehdi Taremi converted from the penalty spot in the 16th minute of the same period, securing Inter's victory.

Inter Milan remains in second place in Serie A, three points behind the leader, Napoli, with one game less played. If Inter wins that pending match, they would tie the leader on points. Before that, Inter will face Monaco in the last match of the Champions League group stage.

On the other hand, Lecce is in 17th place and is close to the relegation zone, just one point ahead of Hellas Verona. Hellas Verona will play their match against Venezia on Monday in a crucial clash in the fight to avoid relegation.
