Johan Vásquez Attracts Premier League Interest

Johan Vásquez, a Mexican central defender, is attracting the attention of several clubs in Serie A and now also in the Premier League. According to journalist Ben Jacobs from GimmeSport, Vásquez has sparked the interest of Brentford and Fulham in England.

"Both clubs have expressed their interest in the Mexican international as they prepare for the summer transfer window," Jacobs mentioned, adding that the potential transfer fee would be around £17 million, which is $21 million.

This interest from English clubs comes in addition to the previous interest from Italian teams like Atalanta and Juventus in Vásquez, who has excelled at Genoa. Despite the offers, Genoa has no plans to sell the player, as he is a key asset for the team, and the player is not very interested in leaving.

In the current season, Vásquez has played 26 Serie A matches and one Coppa Italia match, scoring two goals and receiving seven yellow cards. His strong performance has drawn interest from several clubs, but for now, he seems focused on continuing at Genoa.
