Como, which has Argentine Nico Paz as one of its key players, suffered a surprising home defeat 2-1 to Fiorentina in matchday 25 of Italy's Serie A. Fiorentina's goals were scored by Italians Nicolò Fagioli and Moisés Kean, while for Como, Fabiano Parisi also scored an own goal. The opening goal came in the 26th minute of the first half when Fagioli collected a rebound and finished well into the first post, defended by French goalkeeper Jean Butez. In the second half, Kean was the one to extend the lead in the 10th minute with a well-taken penalty. At that moment, a curious situation occurred: after the Italian stretched the lead, the Como goalkeeper wanted to kick the ball out of frustration and ended up hitting Fagioli, leaving him lying on the floor for a moment due to pain. Finally, Como managed to pull one back thanks to Parisi's own goal, but it was not enough and they ended up empty-handed. This victory allowed Fiorentina to reach 21 points and, although it remains in the relegation zone, it is hopeful of escaping it in the coming dates if it continues on the path of victory. Como, for its part, is in sixth place with 41 points and risks its place in the qualifying positions for European competitions next season. According to the investigation by the Argentine News Agency, in matchday 26, Como will visit Juventus, while Fiorentina will host Pisa.
