In Italy, the grave of model Pamela Genini was desecrated, and her head was stolen. The body of the model, who was a victim of a brutal femicide in 2025, was beheaded. The discovery was made on Monday, when the model's white coffin was about to be transferred to the family chapel. The Bergamo Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation for desecration of a corpse and theft, which in Italy carries a prison sentence of up to seven years. The motive for the crime remains unclear. Pamela Genini's lawyer, Nicodemo Gentile, has ruled out a financial motive. The model was killed by her ex-fiancé, Gianluca Soncin, in 2025.
